Mysteriis is a medieval black metal band formed in January of 1995 by Ivan (Vocals) and Gusthav (Guitars) after "Apocriphal" splited up in December 24th of 1994, so they continue with 2 of the songs written for Apocriphal, "The Wine of Immortality" and "Tale From Forest", with the new drummer they arranged this songs in the new band style, dark and Medieval evoking the spirit of the ancient forest full of fantasy and Mythological beigns.

In the begining the drums was played by Zythoroth from the band Malleficarum, creating a new song called "Nocturnal Princess", but after a few months Zythoroth left the band and he is replaced by Luispheratum in half 1995. Mysteriis made 3 more songs with this new drummer and soon they began to think in recording a demotape, but Luispherathum left the band too. After some time searching for a new member...the band got to Ishthath (Drummer) from Lemures and Maleficiere Te deum from Maleficarum comes to play the bass guitar, finding the right sound with fast and aggressive songs, adding female voice and keyboards.

In October of 1996 they recorded their demo debut "Fullmoon Shadows", 8 songs in english and a great cover full color...after the debut Ivan left the band and a search for the new vocal begins.

"Fullmoon Shadows" was totally produced by Sabbath Productions in September of 1997 and the song "The Wine of Immortality" taken from this recording was part of The Black Moon Compilation Tape entitled "To Meet the Storm" in 1998.

After the release of "Fullmoon Shadows" the band stop rehearsing for a long time, but ten years after new members gathered to rebirth the demo songs and new material composed through this 10 years of silence.

Between April and December of 2008, the band was rehearsing for their return in a Festival called Metal Medallo in Medellin-Colombia, this show was at Teatro Ateneo Porfirio Barba Jacob in February 2nd 2008.

For the year 2009 the band is planning to rehearse, compose new songs, play in all shows as possible and release a promo CD and maybe a debut CD for all the people who's waiting the coming back of the band.

Mysteriis es una banda de black metal medieval formada en Enero de 1995 por Ivan (Vocalista) y Gusthav (Guitarras) luego de la separación de "Apocriphal" en Diciembre de 1994, así que ellos continúan con 2 de las canciones escritas para "Apocriphal", "The Wine of Immortality" y "Tale From Forest", con el nuevo baterista se arreglan estas canciones en el nuevo estilo de la banda, oscuro y medieval evocando el espíritu de los antiguos bosques llenos de fantasía y seres mitológicos.

Al comienzo la batería estuvo a cargo de Zythoroth de la banda Malleficarum, creando una nueva canción llamada "Nocturnal Princess", pero luego de algunos meses Zythoroth se retira de la banda y es reemplazado por Luispheratum a mediados de 1995.
Mysteriis crea otras 3 canciones con el nuevo baterista y pronto comienzan a pensar en grabar un demo cassette, pero Luispheratum se retira tambien de la banda. Luego de algun tiempo buscando un nuevo integrante... la banda consigue a Ishthath (Baterísta) de Lemures y Maleficiere Te deum de Maleficarum entra a tomar el rol de bajista, hallando el sonido correcto con canciones rápidas y agresivas, adicionando voz femenina y teclados.

En Octubre de 1996 graban su demo debut "Fullmoon Shadows", 8 canciones en inglés y una grandiosa portada a color... luego del debut Ivan se retira de la banda y la busqueda de un nuevo vocalista comienza.

"Fullmoon Shadows", fue producido totalmente por Sabbath Productions en Septiembre de 1997 y la canción "The Wine of Immortality" extractada de esta grabación como parte de el casette compilado de The Black Moon titulado "To Meet the Storm" en 1998.

Luego del lanzamiento de "Fullmoon Shadows" la banda paró de ensayar por muy largo tiempo, pero diez años después nuevos integrantes se reunen para revivir las canciones del demo y nuevo material compuesto durante diez años de silencio.

Entre Abril y Diciembre de 2008, la banda estuvo ensayando para su regreso en un festival llamado Metal Medallo en Medellín-Colombia, este show fue en el Teatro Ateneo Porfirio Barba Jacob en Febrero 2 de 2008.

Para el año 2009, la banda planea ensayar, componer nuevas canciones, tocar en todos los conciertos que sea posible y sacar un promo CD, quizas un CD debut para toda la gente que ha esperado el regreso de la banda.
